High-flying vintages at low-rise prices at Coq d'Argent
Coq d'Argent has introduced an exclusive sommelier's selection of rare and fine wines at substantially reduced prices. The list will change on a regular basis to showcase the cellar, which holds almost 800 different wines. The current list of 23 red, white and sweet wines ranges from Macon-Pierreclos J. M. Guffens-Heynen 2000 (reduced from £164 to £95) to Pauillac Chateau Lafite Rothschild 1er Cru Classé 1990 (reduced from £1,250 to £755). Olivier Marie, who has worked as Head Sommelier at Coq d'Argent since 2001, took the initiative to encourage customers to enjoy something special with their meal, as he comments 'ultimately, they have been produced for drinking'.

Sauterelle Serves up a Nest Egg Dessert to Diners this Easter
This Easter, Sauterelle Head Chef Robin Gill and acclaimed chocolatier, Paul A. Young, have collaborated to create an extravagant Easter egg. Served on a "nest" of Robin's homemade muesli of toasted nuts, dried fruits and sweetened parsnip crisps, this hen sized egg is created with 64% Madagascan dark chocolate inlayed with edible 23 carat gold leaf and filled with Paul A Young's multi-award winning sea salted caramel. In the name of ultimate indulgence, Paul has added champagne to the recipe, giving a vibrant finish to this chocolate delight, which will be served as a dessert alongside white chocolate and cardamom truffles and vanilla "snow", available exclusively at Sauterelle and Paul A.
