Reservations are now being taken for the Chop House’s Diamond Jubilee lunch on Sunday 3 June 2012. It doesn’t get more celebratory than the menu that’s been created for the occasion. From the chilled glass of Chapel Down to kick proceedings off to the wonderful jubilee trifle with Champagne jelly for dessert, the menu is a showcase for the best of British produce. There will be smoked eel, Colchester crab, native lobster, Norfolk asparagus, Jersey royals, elderflower jelly, Jersey cream, even Somerset truffles – glorious and quietly luxurious ingredients that the country can be proud of.
The lunch menu costs £225 per person for a window or terrace table and £195 per person at all other tables. The price is inclusive of English sparkling wine on arrival, canapés, a four-course menu, wine (half a bottle per person), water, tea or coffee.
Reservations are available from 12pm until 2pm and you can keep your table until 5pm.
Groups – We are able to accommodate groups of up to 60 hiring one of our semi private areas of the restaurant subject to a minimum spend.
