Christmas is approaching fast! Book your Christmas party at Almeida, available for exclusive hire of the entire restaurant for up to 100 seated; 80 including a dance floor or 200 for a standing drinks reception. Alternatively, we have two private dining rooms available; the main private dining room is perfect for parties for up to 18 guests and the sunken private room which seats up to 9 guests. Smaller Christmas groups are also welcomed at Almeida.
The Christmas menus, created by head chef, Alan Jones, are modern French, with an emphasis on fresh seasonal ingredients. The Christmas private dining menus are priced at £35 for three courses, £45 for five courses and £55 for a six course tasting menu. Choose from a variety of dishes such as roast pumpkin and chestnut soup; partridge, creamed cabbage and roast pumpkin sloe and mille-feuille of chocolate praline and hazelnuts.
Almeida restaurant will be offering a complimentary glass of Champagne to each guest upon arrival for Private dining room and Sunken dining room parties that confirm their booking and pay their deposit before the 1st of December 2008.
For parties over eight people, customers can also choose from a traditional Christmas menu priced at £40 for four courses, which includes coffee and mince pies; £50 for six courses which includes amuse-bouche and Champagne granité and £60 for seven courses including Champagne granité and a fish course.
You will be required to choose one menu for your entire party; however, we will be happy to cater for any special requirements, provided we are notified in advance. For parties of less than 8 people, they are welcome to choose from the A La Carte menu.
For those who prefer to escape the stresses of cooking on Christmas Day, celebrate at Almeida with a traditional Christmas lunch with all the trimmings and the best bit ...no washing up!
