Cookery Classes at Almeida

It's a great time of year to hone your cookery skills, and what better way to learn but by a professional Head Chef in his own kitchen?

Alan Jones, Head Chef at Almeida would like to invite you to join him in some small, relaxed cooking classes for food lovers of all abilities.

The classes are held from 10am-12noon and are followed by lunch with Alan. They are priced at £40 per person and include three courses, a glass of wine and coffee. Each class holds of a maximum of eight cooks to ensure everyone gets Alan's full attention.

Alan has devised a series of six masterclasses based on a dinner party theme, from Starters through to Petit Four and Croque en Bouche; each class tackles a different course and explores the classic execution of each - just 10 tickets per class, priced at £40 per person


How to Throw a Dinner Party

  • Tuesday 6th April - Main Course
  • Tuesday 4th May - Desserts
  • Tuesday 1st June - Petit Fours and Croque en Bouche
  • Tuesday 6th July - English treats (asparagus, peas, broad beans, raspberries and strawberries)
  • Tuesday 3rd August - BBQ
  • Tuesday 7th September - Afternoon tea
