Dinner with Rose Prince at Blueprint Cafe

Come and enjoy a rare opportunity to taste Rose Prince’s cooking on Wednesday 11 June 2008 to celebrate the publication of Rose’s new tome, The New English Table. Rose is an acclaimed author who regularly contributes to the Daily Telegraph and other national papers and will be joining Blueprint Café’s Head Chef, Jeremy Lee. Together they will be cooking a four course dinner, taking inspiration from Rose’s new book.

In a new initiative starting on Mother’s Day, 2 March 2008, Le Pont de la Tour restaurant in Butler’s Wharf will be offering from 12-4pm a Sunday lunch menu for under £25 in both the Restaurant and Bar & Grill; there will also be entertainment from a live three piece jazz band.

Bluebird’s Executive Chef Mark Broadbent will be marking Easter celebrations with a range of egg dishes on the à la carte menu for both adults and children to enjoy. Bluebird’s Sommelier John Le Gras has chosen wines to complement each course (priced separately) and for children there will be hot chocolate. The dishes will be available lunch and dinner from the 17-30 March 2008.

The dinner is a welcome opportunity for customers to try the wines from Mastrojanni, a boutique family owned estate which has been producing red wines for two generations in Montalcino, in Southern Tuscany. This dinner marks the first time that Mastrojanni wines have been available in the UK.
