Jacquesson Champagne Masterclass

Join us for our Jacquesson Champagne Masterclass evening and dinner on Tuesday, 14th October, where we will guide you through a six course menu gourmand created by head chef Ihor Tymchyshyn paired with matching wines from the small luxury Champagne house Jacquesson. Hosted by Robert Giorgione (Orrery Wine Buyer/Head Sommelier) and Jean-Herve Chicquet (Owner/winemaker of Jacquesson Champagne).

The convivial evening will begin at 6:30pm with an aperitif and canapés served on Orrery's Summer Terrace if the weather is nice otherwise in the bar; dinner and masterclass will start at 7:30pm. The evening is priced at £97 per person (excluding 12.5% service charge).

Orrery Epicerie Tastings

Wednesday October 8th - fortified wines, including ports and madeiras with cheese, foie gras and chocolates

Monday October 20th - Pares Balta, Spanish wine tasting with a selection of their wines from Penedes, Priorat and Ribera del Duero.

Tuesday October 21st - Dog Point Vineyard wine tasting. Award-winning, world-famous viticulturalist Ivan Sutherland and winemaker James Healey will be over from Marlborough to present their fantastic selection of wines.

Wednesday October 22nd - Chateau Gillette, Sauternes. Iconic family-owned vineyard in Sauternes making sweet wines for many generations in a unique style. Julie Medeville will be over to present her family's wines.

Orrery Champagne Trolley

As a wonderful way to begin your dining experience at Orrery start with an aperitif served from the Champagne trolley at your table by the Sommelier. Try a glass of the House Champagne, which is produced by Henriot. We have either the Brut Souverain or the Brut Rose.

Alternatively, go for something different such as the 'monthly special'. From October we will be serving the Jacquesson Cuvee 732. We will also be hosting a Jacquesson Champagne Masterclass and tasting dinner in the restaurant on Tuesday, 14th October.
