This February, Quaglino's hosted two major catwalk shows as part of London fashion week Autumn/Winter 09.

For the second time, we played host to Fashion East, the fashion agency who 'discovered' Jonathan Saunders, Emma Cook, Richard Nicol, Marios Schwab, Gareth Pugh and House of Holland amongst others. Fashion East aims to deliver a high energy snapshot of what's cool, directional and what's happening in London right now.

Quaglino's was also the venue for trendy fashion house, House of Holland's, catwalk show and after party. Known for cheeky t-shirt slogans and quirky designs, this will be House of Holland's 3rd solo show at London Fashion Week. So hip it hurts, House of Holland has attracted celebrity fans including Alexa Chung, Pixie Geldof, Kelly Osbourne, and Henry Holland's close friend Agyness Deyn.

To celebrate Quaglino's involvement in London Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 09, we are offering a fabulous menu, designed with fashionistas in mind , priced at £20.00 for three courses, including unlimited Belu mineral water.

Artist Hugo Dalton's walldrawing has taken over the coveted Quaglino's entrance. Dalton's rendition of Piccadilly Circus as a (near) future London lagoon explores themes of flooding. Here London is slipshore; weeded yet glamorous still. Even up to its lower lip London learns to enjoy itself. The repeated characters in cafès, the idle doodling of passion flowers, the texture of parquet floor, a tag: All these things lead up to a comment on flooding. Swarovski have kindly collaborated with Dalton by adding their own unique touch of glamour to the Quaglino's entrance walldrawing.

Dalton has had a solo show at the Fine Art Society, Bond Street and his collectors include Kay Saatchi, David Roberts, Sam Parker Bowles, Anthony de Rothschild. To see more about the making of the Quaglino's walldrawing please visit www.hugodalton.com

LIVE MUSIC AT QUAGLINOS

Quaglino's offers live music in the cocktail bar on Friday and Saturday evenings. The programme changes weekly and is the perfect accompaniment to drinks and dinner.
