What We Believe In
We're committed to reducing our impact on the environment and are working hard to make our business as sustainable as possible. We'd like to tell you a bit about some of our commitments to a greener future.
Our Ingredients
From the most basic to the most luxurious ingredients, we buy the best quality we can and as seasonally as possible. Animal welfare is a priority to us and our chefs work hard to build relationships with farmers and producers who deliver the high quality ingredients that we require and can prove the best standards of animal husbandry and provenance.
Our Environment
We've worked hard to reduce our impact on the environment in a number of ways. We recycle all of our glass and cardboard waste and we are actively reducing our energy consumption and our reliance on traditional fossil fuels by buying green energy from sustainable sources whenever possible. We're also working with our suppliers to reduce deliveries and packaging.
Our Business
We believe in doing business as fairly as possible and for the long term. We like to work with partners who are doing positive things in their chosen field. We've introduced Fairtrade coffee as a standard and belu, our mineral water supplier, are not only the first water company to be carbon neutral but also give all of their profits to clean water projects in the UK and abroad.
