Getting to know: Our Charity Partner, Street Smart

THROUGHOUT DECEMBER, D&D LONDON ARE PARTNERING WITH STREET SMART, BY HELPING THEM RAISE FUNDS FOR THE HOMELESS BY ADDING A DISCRETIONARY £2 TO ALL BILLS.

The partnership is part of a huge fundraising campaign across the UK, where we will be working alongside other restaurants to help raise money for vulnerable and homeless members of the local community during, (with a particular focus on youth homelessness and addressing food poverty).

StreetSmart has raised nearly 10 million pounds since their foundation in 1998 enabling them to support charities, hostels and projects that help those living on the streets and in unsuitable accommodation. What’s more, every penny of every £2 stays local to where it’s raised.

StreetSmart have teamed up with LandAid, the property industry charity to help deliver their 2020 programme, with a joint mission to end youth homelessness in the UK.

LandAid’s contribution to StreetSmart allows the charity to continue achieving real change and enable 100% of StreetSmart’s donations to be passed directly onto projects.
