As the Director of Sales at D&D London, Mark leads and develops the sales and events strategy across the group. He has implemented a homogenous structure for event management, sales and tactical marketing underpinned by a newly integrated CRM system.
Mark works closely with each venue to deliver the most relevant proposition to potential bookers, both corporate and social.
He is ultimately responsible for event services, maintaining and building extensive key relationships with third parties, event agencies, travel trade, technology platforms, concierge services, media and industry press. Mark presents to key current and prospective clients, designing and running campaigns, roadshows, venue showcases, presentations, safaris and exhibits at major industry showcases.
He brings a wealth of experience direct from the events industry most recently as Head of Account Management at Zibrant managing contracts in the U.K. and overseas.
Mark moved into the events industry with extensive commercial expertise from a background as a headhunter in the technology and banking and financial markets disciplines. Customer service is ingrained in his DNA since his early career having been selected as a cultural representative for the World Show Case, Disney World, Florida.
