Located in the iconic grade 1 listed Quakers Friars building, Klosterhaus is composed of a glamorous restaurant, bar, event spaces and outdoor terraces.
Executive Head Chef, Bjoern Wassmuth and Head Chef Rhys Grayson have created a range of menus that showcase Mittel- European cuisine alongside German classics inspired by Bjoern’s German heritage.
Whether you’re looking for a private room to dine with friends or colleagues, to host a hybrid virtual meeting or the perfect backdrop for tying the knot, Klosterhaus provides the ideal setting. Whatever the occasion, we have the menu to compliment from canapes and bowl food, to seated set menus and our signature cocktails.
The menu, Mittel-European classics and German favourites inspired by Chef’s Bjoern’s (from D&D London’s German Gymnasium) heritage, working closely with local suppliers such as beef from Meat Box, sourdough bread from Coombeshead Bakery and all fish from Wing of St Mawes.
An extensive curated wine list including a vast selection of vegan, vegetarian and organic options.
Classic and creative cocktails such as the Hemingway Special (Havana 3yrs rum, Luxardo maraschino liquor, fresh lime, fresh grapefruit), the bar will feature a varied selection of German and local premium craft beers from Bristol Beer Factory.
