Growing up in Tuscany, Andrea’s journey with wine began in his homeland of Italy where he first joined the hospitality industry.
Aged eighteen, he moved to London to work in a number of Michelin Starred restaurants and was part of the opening for Novikov Restaurant group, later on joining D&D London.
Having started at New street Gill, Andrea decided to focus on the world of wine by completing the WSET Level 3.
Moving to Leeds in 2017, Andrea has taken over as both Restaurant manager and Head Sommelier at the Oliver award winning Crafthouse. Working closely with his team, Andrea is responsible for the wine menus and has the opportunity to pair the fantastic wines with the fine dining British dishes.
